Blogging this session is so surreal to me! Through this pregnancy, I’ve often stopped and thought, “Is this really happening? Is this a dream? Am I really pregnant?” During my baby shower I stopped several times because I couldn’t believe it was real. It’s the most magical feeling! I’ve been so blessed that this pregnancy has been breeze. People constantly ask me, “How do you feel? Do you have cravings? Can you sleep? Are you sick? Are you tired?” Honestly the whole process has been so easy and I’m praising the Lord for such that blessing and the little blessing growing inside me!
I’ve enjoyed being pregnant. I didn’t think I would since I had heard so many stories about it being somewhat miserable especially in the summer. I’ve loved feeling this little miracle move inside me, even when she kicks my ribs and I think she’s going to bust right out of there. It’s amazing how my love for her began when I heard her heartbeat at 8 weeks. Until then I didn’t feel like I was pregnant. Hearing her heart beat for the first time made me realize that Danny and I created a miracle and we were going to become parents!!
Over the last few months that love for her has grown and grown. I’ve had so many ultrasounds and I can’t wait until that 2D face is in my arms. I know that love will only grow more and more when she is here in just a few weeks! Thank you Weddings by Hana for these images that I will cherish forever!! In these images little Ally is 4 pounds. I’m 8 months/ 32 weeks. Only 8 more weeks until we meet our Alexandria Grace Botta!
