Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

In early December, I hosted my annual 2020 Christmas Studio Minis in my brand new residential studio. I had the pleasure of working with familiar faces who all traveled from Northern Virginia. Seriously can’t tell you how thankful I am for them. Each session was 15 minutes and as you can imagine each session was a wild 15 minutes.
I had this vision for a Christmas tree setup about 1.5 years ago. I didn’t want to pay big bucks for mini trees so I had my eyes on the look out for what I was looking for and came across it over the summer!! I paid $20 for 3 mini trees and added “snow”. Along with cotton “snow,” faux lit candles, faux glittery snow balls, and twinkle lights I was all set. My vision came to life!! All the kids loved the faux glittery snow balls and they all loved throwing them. We made it into a little game. I’m still finding the glitter, haha.
If you’re interested in mini sessions in 2021, send me an email to be added to my mini session list.
