Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

Baby Jay 11 Days was welcomed into the world in October 2020. What a year to be alive, am I right? In the midst of a crazy year, life is still happening. Baby Jay came into the studio at 11 days new. Her parents drove from Northern Virginia to have me capture their little princess and she was my first newborn session in my new residential studio in Winchester. Having a new and large studio space was incredible! I loved having the creative space to think outside the box and capture new poses. As I photograph more sessions, I’ll know how I need to adjust the space to fit my needs and my clients needs. Tweaks already need to happen but I am enjoying the process.
Baby Jay was named after one of her uncles. She is such a gorgeous baby and was incredible during her newborn session. Love the macro images I was able to capture of her hands and feet. Her parents joked about how she has her Dad’s feet because they are so long.
See a few of my favorites from Baby Jay’s newborn session below. To inquire about a newborn session, email me at [email protected]
