Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

I will be honest, I was first asked to photograph a newborn lifestyle session for the first time last year in 2017. I was so nervous and I didn’t think I wanted to do it. My husband convinced me to step out of my comfort zone and I am so glad I did. I ended up taking on the job and I fell in love! I loved being able to go into my clients homes where life, memories, and messes take place. I’ve photographed a few lifestyle sessions since 2017 and each one is so unique. I feel like I get to know the families a little more because I’m in their space. It’s truly such a special thing to photograph.
Lifestyle sessions remind me of why I started photography in the first place. I used to photograph my mom doing random things around the house, photographed my toys, and my two younger sisters. Photographing inside of your home is extra special because your life lives there.
When Brooke told me she was pregnant, read more about that here, she told me in her living room. Photographing her newborn she told me about 9 months prior in that same room was so surreal!
Her oldest daughter definitely warmed up to me since the last time I saw her at their family/ maternity session. When I walked inside, Emilia showed me her toy and almost immediately took my hand to show me a room upstairs. She loves to jump on the bed upstairs and couldn’t wait to show me!
Reagan Elizabeth was 15 days new during her lifestyle session. What a precious little girl. I can’t believe Brooke and Glenn are now parents to two little girls!!
