Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

If ever there was a perfect day for a Cedarhurst on the Bay Wedding, it would be today. Sam and Nick said “I do” on April 28th in St James Church where Sam’s parents were married 27 years ago. The priest mentioned how neat it was (and how old he felt) having married her parents and now Sam and Nick. He also mentioned how this would be last wedding after marring 900 couples through the years, yes 900!!
The day was perfect and filled with a lot of love and a lot of emotions. Sam and her mom were full of tears (so were many of her bridesmaids)once Sam’s dress was on and it was almost time for the ceremony to begin. Sam then had one of the sweetest father/ daughter first looks I’ve ever seen!! Check out her Dad’s loving smile. About 30 minutes prior, he didn’t know what a first look was. I explained and I think it’s safe to say he really enjoyed that moment together.
It was then time to begin! The church was the most different churches I’ve ever seen. There was no center aisle so the bridesmaids were able to come in, go down one aisle, and come back up another. I’m sure it was fun for Sam getting to enjoy that special moment walking to her groom. After the said their I Do’s they left the church and headed straight for the church bells. They rang the bell together and shared another kiss! It was so romantic you guys!
Sam and Nick are a super laid back and easy going couple. They don’t stress about little things since in the end it doesn’t really matter. I’ve always love that about them! They are so in love and find the happiness in each and every day. I enjoyed hearing the best man’s and maid of honor’s speeches because they both mentioned this. They both said how fun they are, how amazing they are together, and how their hearts were so kind. I saw this through out the day. Sam teared up more times than I can count. I saw how tender and kind her heart is. I remember when I delivered their engagement photos Sam said the images made her cry. She’s the sweetest and I am so honored Sam and Nick chose me to capture their wedding day.
Special Thanks to all Vendors who made Sam and Nick’s wedding so special!
