Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

One day I was scrolling through my Facebook feed and I see this couple who just got engaged on the beach. I remember thinking how exciting they must be feeling because I remember that same feeling when my husband proposed on the beach.
A few weeks later, I get a call about engagement pictures. The girl on the phone was saying how she had just gotten engaged on the beach and how special it was that it was photographed! Then she mentions who took the photos and it all made sense! I was talking with the SAME girl over the phone whose beach proposal images I had just seen on Facebook! The person who took those photos is her family and a few of her family members are my clients I’ve photographed before! Small, small world.
During Ryan and Hannah’s engagement session, they were able to tell me all about the proposal. They were taking family photos on the beach when Ryan says “Just one more photo” which Hannah thought was strange and then he got down on one knee and proposed!! How romantic is that!? And how fun to get engaged and immediately celebrate with all of your family!
Ryan and Hannah were the sweetest couple, not to mention a great looking couple! It was fun getting to know them and getting to hear how their family was doing. I had just photographed Ryan’s brother and sister in laws baby girl, see her newborn images here, so it was fun making that connection and hearing how Norah is still a super smiley happy baby.
