What do you do when the weather forecast teases rain on your wedding day, but the skies stay dry—right up until the ceremony? If you’re Daisy and Adam, you embrace the moment! As they walked down the aisle at their outdoor ceremony, the rain finally made an appearance. But as Adam so perfectly said during the vows, it was fitting for them as a couple—adventurous, spontaneous, and completely in step with their unique love story.
Their wedding took place at the breathtaking Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, Virginia. This stunning Georgian mansion, nestled just outside of Washington, D.C., provided an elegant and timeless backdrop for their big day. As one of my personal favorite venues, Great Marsh Estate never fails to deliver on charm and grandeur.
Daisy and Adam’s Great Marsh Estate Rainy Wedding Day was made even more special by the presence of so many of their college friends. Between drinks, laughter, and endless selfies, it was clear this was a celebration not just of their marriage, but of the bonds they’ve built along the way.
Rain or shine, Daisy and Adam’s wedding was filled with joy, adventure, and love—a perfect reflection of the life they’re building together. Congratulations to the happy couple!

A few days before Christmas, Joe planned the perfect proposal for his girlfriend, Catie. With thoughtful preparation, we mapped out every detail, and when the moment came, Catie was completely surprised—and, of course, she said yes! Despite the freezing temperatures (so cold I could barely feel my body after just 10 minutes!), their joy and […]
Spending the morning with Julianna was such a joy! She’s launching her financial planning business and needed branding images to bring her vision to life. We carefully planned her session and chose three distinct locations to capture a variety of looks that reflect her brand. If you’re looking for guidance on your path to financial […]
The charm of Rust Manor House set the stage for a wedding that was classic, elegant, and modern. Nestled in the peaceful embrace of a park, this venue provided a secluded, nature-inspired backdrop that perfectly matched the bride’s vision. She fell in love with the calmness of the surroundings, the sounds of birds chirping, and […]
When Scott first reached out about elopement portraits, he was open to any time or place that would capture the most gorgeous images to look back on. Scott and Pilar privately exchanged their vows in a courthouse wedding in Alexandria, creating an intimate start to their journey together. A few weeks later, we met on […]
Every year, fall mini sessions are a huge hit with families! They’re the perfect way to update your annual family portraits and get beautiful images for Christmas cards. In 2024, these Fall Morven Park 2024 Fall Mini sessions sold out quickly, which is why I offered three different dates at three unique locations. Morven Park […]
