When Kara and I spoke on the phone for the first time, I immediately felt like we were best friends. We had so much in common and it was just really fun talking with her. Kara and Matt’s Hampton Mansion Engagement Session was the same way! It was so much fun. At first they said to me they were so nervous about the photos because they felt like they would feel awkward and just not know what to do. I reassured them they wouldn’t have to worry about that at all and they were to just have fun. Do you see the images below? Can you believe such thoughts ever crossed their mind?! These two are freakin’ adorable! They nailed all the laughing shots and they are 100% comfortable with each other and obviously me as well! I love how natural everything about their genuine smiles and laughter are.
When Kara and Matt did a quick outfit change I photographed some macro shots of Kara’s gorgeous ring. Usually I feel like I have to hold my breath so I don’t move making the diamond slightly of of focus but in this case, her diamond was so big I did all the breathing I wanted, haha.
We finished their engagement session at the mansion and these might just be my favorite images! I especially love the laughing images with the white door in the background. Something a little different than what I normally do and I love it!
