Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

Bailey and Eugene said their vows in their intimate elopement in Old Town Alexandria on Friday with their closest immediate family. I absolutely love elopements because they aren’t stressful or rushed. Elopements are intimate and the couple can relish in the moment and the commitment they’re making to one another which is such a lovely way to spend your wedding day.
Their ceremony was right in front of the large beautiful white doors at the Alexandria Circuit Court. I didn’t realize it at the time but as I was looking through their images there were tears of happiness from many family members during the ceremony. It’s truly so beautiful to look at and see.
After their intimate sweet ceremony we took family photos and then spent time walking around old town taking newlywed bride and groom portraits. We walked to all the “must go to” spots in Old Town Alexandria like Prince Street and the Carlyle House. So many people saw them walking and congratulated them. It was such a surreal moment for them. Bailey said she felt like she was on the outside looking in and it didn’t feel like the moment was really happening, almost like a dream.
Bailey and Eugene were so incredible. They had the most amazing, laid back, fun personalities and I felt like I immediately clicked with them. They are the sweetest couple and I’m so excited for them and this new adventure in their lives. Thank you both for allowing me to capture your beautiful intimate Elopement in Old Town Alexandria.
