Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

This week I probably looked at my weather app 50 times! I was checking it every 20 minutes to see if the weather had changed from 80% of thunderstorms to sunny! The weather wasn’t changing but it also wasn’t thunder storming so we played Mallory and Chad’s Jones Point Park Maternity Session by ear. The skies were gloomy and gray and it seemed rather dark in the forest area but man did those gray skies make for some gorgeous maternity portraits!
When I met Mallory and Chad at Jones Point Park I immediately noticed how beautiful and glowing Mallory was especially in her maternity gown from Pink Blush. Throughout the session, it was fun getting to know Mallory and Chad, where they moved here from, and what they do. By the end of the session, we hugged goodbye and Mallory said how much fun she had during the session and she was so happy that I made it fun! I was so happy to hear that!
Once Mallory received her images, she responded “I’m totally blown away by these images – and I’m so thankful we got them in because apparently that was literally the last day of freedom for us! We are truly feeling the Lord’s blessings right now!” This brought tears to my eyes because Mallory and Chad really wanted to capture this joyous moment in their life. We moved their maternity session up from a Friday to a Wednesday because the doctors had her on modified bed rest and doctors saw some things that they wanted to be extra cautious with. Mallory and Chad had a feeling they would be admitted Friday, which they were. Baby is fine but also stayed in the hospital Monday and Tuesday night. What a miracle the weather worked out for us and we were able to capture this precious moment!! Had we not photographed them Wednesday, we wouldn’t have been able to have a maternity session at all!
Looking forward to meeting their little boy in a few weeks, maybe earlier!
