Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

Holly originally contacted me about two weeks after she and Kevin got engaged. I had the opportunity to get to know her and Kevin, how they met, what they do, and hear about their wedding plans so far. I was super excited to meet them in person! We scheduled their engagement session at Jones Point Park in October with hopes of having beautiful fall weather and pretty orange leaves. We had a beautiful day but it felt like summer! It was almost 90 degrees and humid. It’s been a strange “fall” season. The humidity and heat didn’t stop Holly and Kevin from having a great time. They are so natural around each other and incredibly photogenic. They took little direction from me and made each pose their own! It was so much fun photographing them as they just ran with the session. We ended up running into a couple they knew at the park! The couple was so excited to see Kevin and Holly and even get a little behind the scenes of their engagement session.
Holly and Kevin will be getting married in DC in September 2018. I can’t wait to share this special day with them.
Come back on October 2018 to see their wedding.
