Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

Micro Preemie 6 Month Milestone – Emberly Margaret born January 5, 2018
As a photographer, I love being able to bless others with the gift God has given me. Every once in awhile I’ll do a model call to try new props, try new poses and keep my creativity going. In January 2018, God laid it on my heart to bless someone with a session.
The day before Valentine’s Day I was scrolling through Facebook on one of the yard sale sites. I came across a post where someone was selling clothes. The post caught my attention because the clothes were cute! I read more of the description and she was selling because she needed a change with her 3rd child and she mentioned that her baby came at 24 weeks!! I commented and asked how the baby was doing. Coming to find out, she just had her baby in January! Of course her baby was still in the NICU and would be there for awhile longer. I just can’t imagine all the emotions surrounding the whole situation and just wanting your baby to be strong, healthy, and simply big enough to go home.
It’s not often that God tugs on my heart and tells me to reach out to a complete stranger to offer them a session. I felt a little odd messaging her because I didn’t want to sound crazy and say, “God told me to reach out to you.” Although He did. I went with the tugging feeling on my heart and sent her a message. She responded telling me that my message to her brought her to tears, that I was such a blessing to her, and it meant so much.
I knew baby wouldn’t be home for a few more months so I let her know we would talk then. Fast forward to July. Baby is now home, strong and healthy. Emberly is now 6 months old and about 9 pounds. Getting to hear her story was incredible. I can’t believe how strong Emberly and her parents are. God’s hands were watching over this precious angel every step of the way. Her parents were told if she can’t make it to 24 weeks, there is nothing the doctors could do for her, she will most likely have cerebral palsy, and every time the doctors told them there was a chance of something, the tests results showed she was perfectly healthy. The doctors also said she wouldn’t be breathing when she was born and they would need to rush her to the NUCI, yet she came out crying. At just over a pound, doctors joked how was was just a fews hours old and she was a feisty little thing.
What an incredible story of such a little girl defying all odds. I can’t wait to see the big plans God has for her life.
