Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

Hello world, meet Stevie! Right when COVID-19 basically shut down our entire world around March 2020, Clarise called me to let me know she was expecting in July! I couldn’t wait to photograph her baby. I remember chatting with her thinking that in July, by the time her baby came, the virus would be long gone and forgotten. Boy was I wrong. COVID-19 made the year hard in a lot of ways but also gave Danny and me the opportunity to move!
Luckily, Clarise was happy she would have to travel less of a distance to Winchester than Woodbridge, where my studio previously was. Of course, Danny and I didn’t get to close on our house in July like we wanted to. I made a makeshift studio in my parents home we lived for most the summer. It was pretty funny setting up the studio in my parent’s living room. Ally was curious where all of her toys went and started playing with my backdrop poles. I’m so happy I knew there was a potential for our home closing to be delayed so when I packed up my studio, I made sure I packed all of my studio supplies and equipment in a safe place that had easy access.
Newborn Stevie was 19 Days when I photographed her! I typically photograph newborns from day 4-11 days new; however, she had needed some extra help and was in the NICU. Once she was released, we were able to get her photographed ASAP! Can you believe all of the hair she was blessed with!?
