Photographing couples in love during cherry blossom in DC is always the prettiest! It makes for some super early mornings but it’s always worth it. Sonia and Evan were champs with their session because they got the coldest day of the whole peak cherry blossom season. You may not be able to tell from their Spring DC Engagement Session but the wind was blowing roughly 15 miles an hour and it was about 20 degrees! Sonia was in cute sandals therefore her feet were just about frozen!
They snuggled and put their jackets on during little warming breaks; however, it was one of the coldest sessions I’ve ever photographed! Though you can’t really tell how cold it was in these gorgeous photos!
See a few of my favorites from their early morning engagement session at the National Mall.
