One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is witnessing a family’s journey through life’s milestones. From capturing their engagement to celebrating their wedding day, welcoming their newborn, and now their family session, it’s an honor to document these cherished moments.
On the beautiful beautiful Spring day, I was able to photograph Jess and Marty along with their precious little one at the Virginia Arboretum to capture updated family images. I couldn’t believe that little newborn baby I just photographed was now almost a year old.
There’s something so special about photographing a family as they grow and change over time. It’s not just about the milestones but also the small, quiet moments: the way they laugh together, the way they hold each other close, and the way their love shines through in every image.
