Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

A few years ago, I was talking with Kristina and she mentioned this guy she met named Tony. Kristina and I used to work together and she sat directly across from me. I could look over my computer and give her funny faces, haha. Fast forward, she and Tony get engaged!! Not long after, she moved on from that job and I missed her so much. I’m so glad we were able to stay in touch and have coffee together.
Now she and Tony are planning their wedding for October 2019 in Maryland! I’m so excited and honored to photograph these two. It’s been so neat learning about Tony from the very beginning and hearing all about their plans together as they plan their wedding and life together.
We photographed their summer engagement session in Old Town Alexandria on Labor Day. It’s a special place for them and such a beautiful location for engagement portraits. Looking forward to seeing and photographing these two become one next year!
