What a hot weekend! In Virginia, it was 102 with a heat index of 115! We all know the temps were crazy this past weekend and the weather channel advised everyone to stay inside. One of my next educational blog posts will definitely be how to beat the heat! We beat the heat on Saturday and Melat and Kinfu got married outside just like they visioned. Love these sneak peeks I can share with you. I hope you all have an amazing week and stay tuned for some upcoming blog posts and Instastories throughout the week!
A few take aways/ lessons learned from this weekends events:
– When it’s this hot, I make sure to drink a lot of water but my favorite drink to have on wedding days is Body Armor Lyte. It’s filled with electrolytes, barely any sugar, tastes great, refreshing and very hydrating. I’m not sponsored but I should be! Haha I love this stuff.
– It was my first time photographing at the Woodlands at Algonkian! This venue is so pretty. Driving up to it, I saw so many deer and other wildlife. Looking forward to my June 2019 wedding there.
Special thanks to the vendors who made Melat and Kinfu’s wedding so special!
