Hello! My name is Sarah Botta and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer. The feel of a 4x6 image in my hands reliving captured memories is what lead to me falling in love with photography when I was only 6! It wasn’t until after I got married in 2013, I turned my love for photography into a business. My style is romantic, elegant, classic portraits full of beautiful light. When I’m not photographing anything you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee either from a local coffee shoppe or on the couch with my husband and daughter, exploring the great outdoors, swimming or skiing. I’m known for smiling a lot, being adventurous, enjoying and adapting to any situation. I adore working with adventurous, head-over-heels in love couples and can’t wait to tell your story.
On my blog I share my recent work, wedding planning tips, as well as stories from my latest travels and adventures.

As I was driving down the road one day, I get a call from a number that popped up from Texas. I was’t going to answer because I honestly thought it was a telemarketer. I had been receiving a lot of telemarketing calls lately and figured it was just one more. When I answered the phone, I was pleasantly surprised to hear a man on the other end say that his name was Blake, his wife was pregnant and due in about 2 weeks with their second child. He and his wife Mandie loved my work and wanted to know a little more information before booking. I spoke to him about what was included with the session, my process leading up to the session and what happens after the session. To read about newborn FAQs, CLICK HERE. At the end of the call, Blake asked me to send him a contract. By the next day, Evalee’s newborn session was booked.
Evalee’s studio newborn session was scheduled so she would be 9 days new for her session. I find that my sweet spot with newborn sessions is day 9-10! She came into my studio quiet as a mouse and fast alseep! I’m pretty sure I didn’t hear a peep out of her for at least an hour!!
At the end of each newborn session, I photograph family photos if they are requested. I was able to get some really sweet photos of Evalee and her parents. After about 3 days, I got an email from Blake asking if I did Christmas Mini sessions. He and his wife booked another session with me even before they received Evalee’s newborn images. Y’all! They are now my favorite clients!! I was really happy that I answered that mystery phone call and was able to schedule Evalee’s newborn session into the busy fall season. They are such an awesome family that I’m happy I had the opportunity to meet and photograph.
