Some days the weather just doesn’t work in your favor or does it? Joe and Reshmi were in town from Rhode Island and we were scheduled to photograph their Lincoln Memorial Engagement Session. Unfortunately, the weather was calling for rain and there was no way around it. As Tim Gunn says, “Make it work!” That’s exactly what we did. Can you even tell that it’s raining? I’ve never photographed at the Lincoln Memorial. In fact, it’s been awhile since I’ve been to it. I just adore this Rainy Lincoln Memorial Engagement Session and I adore Joe and Reshmi. Reshmi’s dress was perfect for the Lincoln Memorial and that red gave their session the perfect pop of color it needed. It was fun getting to know them better during their engagement session, hear more about their jobs, and what they like to do, as well as hear about their wedding day vision.
Looking forward to photographing their March 2020 wedding!

Nestled in the peaceful embrace of a park, this venue provided a secluded, nature-inspired backdrop that perfectly matched the bride’s vision. She fell in love with the calmness of the surroundings, the sounds of birds chirping, and […]

What do you do when the weather forecast teases rain on your wedding day, but the skies stay dry—right up until the ceremony? If you’re Daisy and Adam, you embrace the moment! As they walked down the aisle at their outdoor ceremony, the rain finally made an appearance. But as Adam so perfectly said during […]
Photographing the Usman Fall Morven Park Family Session again this year was such a treat! We met at the beautiful Morven Park on a stunning fall day in October, with Virginia’s leaves showing off their peak colors. The golden hues, vibrant reds, and deep oranges created the perfect backdrop for this fun and lively session. […]

Ava, their spunky two-year-old, had the best time running around and playing during the session, and her joyful energy brought […]
