In July, I drove down to Richmond to meet Andrew and Nicole at Maymont Garden for their Summer Maymont Garden Engagement Session. This garden was so gorgeous I really could have photographed there all day especially with a couple like Andrew and Nicole. They are an absolute hoot!! They are easy going, fun, silly, and just the type of people I love surrounding myself with.
We choose a super hot day (roughly 99 degrees) to have their engagement session but it was so much fun none of us really minded. The garden’s closed at 7pm and time slipped away from us so we found ourself locked in the park. We decided to jump the 7 foot fence. Being 8 months pregnant and Nicole being in a dress didn’t make for the easiest time getting over but we found ourselves laughing about it for sure! I joked how it was my last adventurous thing before baby comes.
Looking forward to photographing their June 2020 wedding at the Woodlands at Algonkian! It’s going to be a gorgeous, fun filled wedding no doubt about it!
