A few months back, I received an email from a bride who was planning her May 2022 wedding. She mentioned how she was having a hard time finding a photographer whose style she loved. I sent her information and without a call, meeting, or any face-to-face interaction she wanted to book! They were able to snag the last wedding availability I had for May 2022. Booking without calling, Facetiming or any face-to-face interaction was was certainly a first. The reasoning behind not being able to chat is because she and her fiancé were in the military overseas.
Once they were back in the United States, we were able to get to know each other and their wedding plans over FaceTime before their Winchester Engagement Session. The call was so fun and effortless. C has amazing ideas for her wedding day. She went from wanting to elope, to having a wedding and doing it right. I can not wait to see the creativity, energy, and love that is put into C & J’s wedding.
A few months after they booked, we met up and photographed their Winchester Engagement Session. C wore the dress she originally purchased to get married in. She thought it be great to stuff in a suit case without getting wrinkled and elope. They then decided to have a big wedding at their newly purchased private estate. C still wanted to have photos in this gorgeous dress and purchase a different style of wedding dress for their private estate wedding.
Getting to know C & J was so much fun. They are both easy-going, kind, go with the flow, and full of creative ideas for their wedding day. Here are a few of my favorites from their Winchester Engagement Session.
Engagement Ring: Heidi Gibson | Dress: Love Shack Fancy
Engagement | Marie-Elise and Tom Engagement Session

A few days before Christmas, Joe planned the perfect proposal for his girlfriend, Catie. With thoughtful preparation, we mapped out every detail, and when the moment came, Catie was completely surprised—and, of course, she said yes! Despite the freezing temperatures (so cold I could barely feel my body after just 10 minutes!), their joy and […]

We carefully planned her session and chose three distinct locations to capture a variety of looks that reflect her brand. If you’re looking for guidance on your path to financial […]
The charm of Rust Manor House set the stage for a wedding that was classic, elegant, and modern. Nestled in the peaceful embrace of a park, this venue provided a secluded, nature-inspired backdrop that perfectly matched the bride’s vision. She fell in love with the calmness of the surroundings, the sounds of birds chirping, and […]
When Scott first reached out about elopement portraits, he was open to any time or place that would capture the most gorgeous images to look back on. Scott and Pilar privately exchanged their vows in a courthouse wedding in Alexandria, creating an intimate start to their journey together. A few weeks later, we met on […]
Every year, fall mini sessions are a huge hit with families! They’re the perfect way to update your annual family portraits and get beautiful images for Christmas cards. In 2024, these Fall Morven Park 2024 Fall Mini sessions sold out quickly, which is why I offered three different dates at three unique locations. Morven Park […]
