A few months back, I received an email from a bride who was planning her May 2022 wedding. She mentioned how she was having a hard time finding a photographer whose style she loved. I sent her information and without a call, meeting, or any face-to-face interaction she wanted to book! They were able to snag the last wedding availability I had for May 2022. Booking without calling, Facetiming or any face-to-face interaction was was certainly a first. The reasoning behind not being able to chat is because she and her fiancé were in the military overseas.
Once they were back in the United States, we were able to get to know each other and their wedding plans over FaceTime before their Winchester Engagement Session. The call was so fun and effortless. C has amazing ideas for her wedding day. She went from wanting to elope, to having a wedding and doing it right. I can not wait to see the creativity, energy, and love that is put into C & J’s wedding.
A few months after they booked, we met up and photographed their Winchester Engagement Session. C wore the dress she originally purchased to get married in. She thought it be great to stuff in a suit case without getting wrinkled and elope. They then decided to have a big wedding at their newly purchased private estate. C still wanted to have photos in this gorgeous dress and purchase a different style of wedding dress for their private estate wedding.
Getting to know C & J was so much fun. They are both easy-going, kind, go with the flow, and full of creative ideas for their wedding day. Here are a few of my favorites from their Winchester Engagement Session.
Engagement Ring: Heidi Gibson | Dress: Love Shack Fancy
Engagement | Marie-Elise and Tom Engagement Session

Some wedding days stay with you not because of every detail, but because of how they felt. This sunny fall wedding at Rust Manor House in Leesburg was exactly that kind of day—calm, beautiful, and filled with so much heart. Rust Manor House was glowing in the autumn light, with crisp air, golden leaves, and […]

After a few weather-related reschedules, this year’s mini sessions finally came together on a truly perfect fall day. We photographed it at peak color, and just one week later the leaves […]

Starting the day photographing Meridith and Andrew’s engagement session in Winchester couldn’t have been more perfect. As the sun rose, a soft layer of fog rolled in, creating the dreamiest atmosphere and the most beautifully moody images. After having to reschedule because of rain, we decided to embrace the fog—and it added so much character […]

As they settled into life as a family of four (and wrapped up building their […]
