Gradually blogging through weddings from late 2019 during this quarantine and this winter 48 Fields Wedding was one of my favorites! Sarah and Chris are the most down to earth and fun couple. See their engagement session here. Their wedding day was a gorgeous December day with lots of sunshine and love. From the florals and details to the entertainment and decor, no detail Sarah and Chris choose for their wedding was left unnoticed.
This was my first wedding at 48 Fields and my second time visiting the venue. I had photographed a styled shoot earlier in 2019. I loved that the the venue totally transformed the bridal getting ready area. Now it’s an amazing space with lots of windows, light, and perfect for getting ready images.
See a few of my favorites from Sarah and Chris’s wedding day and view all of their amazing vendors listed below.

Some wedding days stay with you not because of every detail, but because of how they felt. This sunny fall wedding at Rust Manor House in Leesburg was exactly that kind of day—calm, beautiful, and filled with so much heart. Rust Manor House was glowing in the autumn light, with crisp air, golden leaves, and […]

After a few weather-related reschedules, this year’s mini sessions finally came together on a truly perfect fall day. This tree instantly caught everyone’s attention, with clients asking if it was intentionally chosen for the sessions—and it really did feel meant to be. We photographed it at peak color, and just one week later the leaves […]

Starting the day photographing Meridith and Andrew’s engagement session in Winchester couldn’t have been more perfect. As the sun rose, a soft layer of fog rolled in, creating the dreamiest atmosphere and the most beautifully moody images. After having to reschedule because of rain, we decided to embrace the fog—and it added so much character […]

As they settled into life as a family of four (and wrapped up building their […]
