In September 2024, I had the joy of capturing a fall lifestyle newborn session in Winchester, Virginia—on the exact day that baby Callie was due!
Brett and Zoe really wanted to document this special moment with their second child since they didn’t have newborn photos taken with their first. This session was all about celebrating their new life as a family of four.
We kept things simple, photographing everything in one beautiful, light-filled space—the master bedroom. Natural light poured into the room, setting the perfect mood for relaxed and heartfelt moments. The session was easygoing and only took two hours, which is on the shorter side for newborn shoots. These sessions usually range from 2-3 hours, allowing time for feedings, diaper changes, and breaks.
This session flowed so naturally, and I had the best time capturing the love and connection between Brett, Zoe, their little one, and sweet baby Callie. Moments like these are truly a gift to document!
