Starting the day photographing Meridith and Andrew’s engagement session in Winchester couldn’t have been more perfect. As the sun rose, a soft layer of fog rolled in, creating the dreamiest atmosphere and the most beautifully moody images. After having to reschedule because of rain, we decided to embrace the fog—and it added so much character to the morning in the best way.
Between laughs and quiet moments, it was so fun hearing their story, especially how they met and fell in love while attending JMU. There’s something extra special about photographing a couple at the very beginning of their wedding journey, and knowing these two will be saying “I do” in the fall of 2026 makes it even sweeter.
