When Genni’s initial inquiry came in, I was immediately excited because she wrote that she was local to Winchester, she was a student at the University not even 10 minutes away, her fiancé owns the most delicious restaurant downtown (shout out to Roma’s in Winchester!! If you’ve never eaten there try it out!), and she loved my photos and couldn’t wait to chat! During our initial call, Genni and I chatted for two hours!! I typically chat with couples for about 30 minutes but she and I hit it off and we were talking about all kinds of things. I felt like we had been friends forever and I just loved chatting away with her.
I always love hearing how couples met. These days, I feel like most couples meet online. It’s so hard to meet people any other way! With Genni and Caleb, Genni lives in the same building as a woman who works with Caleb at his restaurant. The woman knows Caleb well enough to know that he had to meet Genni!! Fast forward, Genni and Caleb meet, they hit it off, and the rest is history. I can not wait to meet this cupid woman at their wedding!
Ever since I visited Long Branch, I wanted to photograph a Long Branch Farm Virginia Engagement Session. Genni and Caleb loved the look of Long Branch and since they are local they were just as excited as I was to photograph their engagement session at Long Branch. Genni and Caleb brought their adorable puppy Barley to their Long Branch Farm Virginia Engagement Session. Special thanks to their friend who looked after Barley while we were photographing without him!!
Enjoy a few of my favorites! Looking forward to photographing these two again for their wedding in August 2022.

As 2023 drew to a close, I had the privilege of capturing the radiant moments of David and Laura’s Maternity Session in the heart of Downtown Winchester, Virginia. It felt like just yesterday when I first met this wonderful couple during their engagement session in 2019 – a memorable time when I was heavily pregnant […]
Returning to PawPaw, West Virginia, to photograph Baby Wren was an incredibly special journey for me. Having recently documented the newborn session of her older twin sisters, this experience held a unique resonance. As a mom of twins myself, I understand the delightful chaos that often accompanies such moments. The prospect of capturing that bustling […]
Nestled in the heart of Middleburg, the Red Fox Inn may seem like just a building from the road, but step onto its grounds, and you’ll discover a hidden gem of a wedding venue—a secret garden of enchanting paths and captivating landscapes. This is precisely what drew Kaylin and Gabriel to choose the Red Fox […]

As the bustling activities of the fall season wind down and we eagerly anticipate the onset of the holiday spirit, I am excited to share this Edinburg Newborn Lifestyle Session. Reflecting on the past, I had the distinct honor of capturing Jess and Marty’s wedding a few years ago. Imagine my delight when I received […]
