What a joy it was meeting Jolene and Alex for their fall Manassas Battlefield Fall Engagement Session. We photographed their engagement session on the most gorgeous fall day in Virginia. This is saying a lot because I felt like most of this fall was cloudy or overcast!
We began their engagement session near a pond right by their home. They wanted to have part of their engagement at the pond because it was one of the places they loved going especially during quarantine in early 2020. When couples have locations that are extra special to them, I always love having their sessions in that location because I know the images will be so much more meaningful.
After we photographed at the pond, we took a short drive over to the Manassas Battlefield. Jolene envisioned her and Alex walking through the tall grass in her beautiful flowy dress and we did just that! The picture perfect afternoon delivered. I love the dress Jolene chose to wear. The pop of color and the movement with the dress was perfect for the tall grass at the battlefield.
Jolene and Alex are getting married in June of 2022 in Haymarket, Virginia. Looking forward to seeing these two cuties say “I do.” Enjoy a few of my favorites from this fall Manassas Battlefield Fall Engagement Session.

Returning to PawPaw, West Virginia, to photograph Baby Wren was an incredibly special journey for me. Having recently documented the newborn session of her older twin sisters, this experience held a unique resonance. As a mom of twins myself, I understand the delightful chaos that often accompanies such moments. The prospect of capturing that bustling […]

This is precisely what drew Kaylin and Gabriel to choose the Red Fox […]
