What happens when your mom’s name is Kate and your Dad’s name is Will? You are named Henry of course! Newborn Henry’s Lifestyle Session took place in Alexandria, Virginia in Kate and Will’s home. Kate told me how she loved the royal family and how it was pretty much fate when she met Will, having a royal name and all. We photographed most of their newborn session in their gorgeous blue bedroom. At one point, Will was holding baby Henry and the way he was holding Henry made Kate tear up. Tears of joy, happiness, and all the emotions that motherhood brings to you. In my head and in my heart it made me smile because I know that what I’m photographing brings so much joy to others and capturing these special memories for others is what I was put on this earth to do.
Towards the end of the session Will and Kate’s dog Penelope had her photo taken on the edge of the bed. She finally warmed up to me, I think. When our lifestyle session began she was not a huge fan of me. I think she was being extra protective of the new baby in the house.
Enjoy my favorites from Newborn Henry Lifestyle Session. If you’re interested in having a lifestyle session, reach out to me by sending an email. As long as your home has 1 window with a lot of natural light, you are all set!

She fell in love with the calmness of the surroundings, the sounds of birds chirping, and […]
