What an interesting year it has been. 2020 has been tough for a lot of people. Though it’s been a tough year, some really great things have come out of the year. For the Odle family, they brought their precious little boy, Ford, home to their gorgeous Chip and Joanna look-a-like farm house in Winchester. Because of Covid, front porch sessions became extremely popular. It was a way families could have updated portraits while still maintaining social distancing. While this Winchester Front Porch Session was taken months after the stay-at-home orders were lifted, I thought it was such a great idea for Ashley to want a front porch session with her family. I mean when you have a front porch like this, why would want to have photos taken anywhere else?!
The Odle’s home reminded me of all the gorgeous home Chip and Joanna’s flip. When I drove up to their home, through the trees, I was in awe at how beautiful and peaceful it was out there. There were chickens in our images, walking around the porch, and I felt like this home was straight out of Home and Garden’s Magazine. Absolutely stunning! Their beautiful little girl was so photogenic and at the end was holding her newborn brothers hand. Talk about a way to melt your heart!
So thankful I was able to photograph this family and see their gorgeous home. See a few of my favorites below.

The charm of Rust Manor House set the stage for a wedding that was classic, elegant, and modern. Nestled in the peaceful embrace of a park, this venue provided a secluded, nature-inspired backdrop that perfectly matched the bride’s vision. She fell in love with the calmness of the surroundings, the sounds of birds chirping, and […]

Scott and Pilar privately exchanged their vows in a courthouse wedding in Alexandria, creating an intimate start to their journey together. A few weeks later, we met on […]
Every year, fall mini sessions are a huge hit with families! They’re the perfect way to update your annual family portraits and get beautiful images for Christmas cards. What do you do when the weather forecast teases rain on your wedding day, but the skies stay dry—right up until the ceremony? If you’re Daisy and Adam, you embrace the moment! As they walked down the aisle at their outdoor ceremony, the rain finally made an appearance. But as Adam so perfectly said during […]
Photographing the Usman Fall Morven Park Family Session again this year was such a treat! We met at the beautiful Morven Park on a stunning fall day in October, with Virginia’s leaves showing off their peak colors. The golden hues, vibrant reds, and deep oranges created the perfect backdrop for this fun and lively session. […]

Ava, their spunky two-year-old, had the best time running around and playing during the session, and her joyful energy brought […]
