On what was arguably the most gorgeous day so far of 2021, I met Kayla and Mark for their Spring Maternity Session at the Manassas Battlefield. The weather was warm with a slight breeze and the sun was shining bright. Typically during the week, session locations are not filled of people around; however, it was such a nice day!! You can’t tell from the images but there were a lot of people at the Stone Bridge out and about enjoying the amazing weather. With the people, a dog, and a toddler, you can imagine, it was a challenging session but often times the challenging sessions are often times my most favorite sessions. This is 100% true for this Spring Maternity Session at Manassas Battlefield. I love these images!
Kayla is glowing with her Pinkblush dress and professionally done hair and makeup for her Spring Maternity Session at the Manassas Battlefield. Her dress is my favorite maternity session dress and it also happens to be the same dress I wore for my maternity photos. Same color also! This dress looked stunning on Kayla! If you’re unsure what to wear for your maternity session photos, check out Pink Blush. They have lots of options to choose from but this dress is my absolute favorite!
Kayla and Mark booked my maternity and newborn collection! I am so excited that I will get to meet and photograph their baby boy at the end of May or early June. Newborn sessions are a great way to document your little ones tiny features and remember them as tiny and precious as they are forever. If you’re interested in a maternity and or newborn session, email me at [email protected] or fill out the contact form on my contact page.
Here are a few favorites from Kayla and Mark’s Spring Maternity Session at the Manassas Battlefield.

Rust Manor House was glowing in the autumn light, with crisp air, golden leaves, and […]

After a few weather-related reschedules, this year’s mini sessions finally came together on a truly perfect fall day. We photographed it at peak color, and just one week later the leaves […]

Starting the day photographing Meridith and Andrew’s engagement session in Winchester couldn’t have been more perfect. As the sun rose, a soft layer of fog rolled in, creating the dreamiest atmosphere and the most beautifully moody images. After having to reschedule because of rain, we decided to embrace the fog—and it added so much character […]
