With everything 2020 brought, postponed weddings were one of them. Joe and Reshmi had already been planning their wedding for 2 years when COVID shutdown the US in March. They made the incredibly difficult decision one week prior to their Osprey’s Woodbridge Virginia Wedding date to postpone until November. In the blink of an eye, November 8th came and went and they are married!!!
Virginia Wedding
Joe and Reshmi’s wedding was almost 3 years in the making!! 3 years can change a lot in a person’s life and the same holds true as you plan a wedding. They were originally supposed to get married in Georgia but with grad school and work, they ultimately decided to get married in Virginia. Their incredibly talented wedding planner Simply Charming Socials and florist came up from Georgia for this wedding!
Their November wedding was sunny and 75. You literally could not have chosen a more perfect wedding day!!
Osprey’s Woodbridge Virginia Wedding
When Joe and Reshmi booked me, I was so excited to photograph at the Osprey’s at Belmont Bay in Woodbridge because I lived in Woodbridge. It’s not often you get to photograph at a venue less than an hour away from your home. Then good ‘ole COVID happened which created the opportunity for me and my family to move. Now that less than an hour away venue didn’t hold true anymore, haha. I was still super excited to photograph their wedding at the Osprey’s. So excited in fact I couldn’t sleep the night before! I felt like a little kid who was excited about Christmas.
