What a day to remember. Marie-Elise and Tom were finally able to have their Shadow Creek Virginia Wedding Celebration. Last year, in 2020, they officially got married at Shadow Creek. Only a few people were in attendance due to the pandemic. One year later they had all of their friends and family gathered together to celebrate their wedding.
How they Met
When I think of the way Marie-Elise and Tom met, I immediately think of a Nicole Sparks movie. On a day just like any other, they met at the post office. They caught each others eyes and the rest bloomed into a beautiful love story.
Wedding Day
July weddings are usually filled with a lot of heat, sweat breaks, and Virginia humidity. Marie-Elise and Tom’s Shadow Creek wedding was the most gorgeous July day. The day almost felt like fall and it was so pleasant outside. I don’t think they could have hand chosen a better day to have their celebration.
Marie-Elise and Birch Event and Design planned an absolutely stunning wedding. From the fruit in the water, to the placement of the tables, every details was meticulously planned to perfection. It was such a joy seeing Marie-Elise and Tom again as well as working with such an incredible team who brought this vision to life.
