When Megan reached out and mentioned she wanted her maternity photos at her house, this is not what I had pictured in my head. The rolling hills and mountain view’s made for the most photogenic location. This Snowy West Virginia Maternity Session was my first session of 2022 and was the perfect start to set the tone of the year. This glowing Momma is expecting not 1 but 2 babies in the next few months!!
When I was preparing for Megan and Adam’s maternity session, Megan mentioned I would most likely loose cell phone service when I headed towards Paw Paw, West Virginia. I won’t lie, it freaked me out! I studied Google Maps, wrote down directions and realized how long it’s been since I’ve had to do directions the “old fashioned way”. I was even going to print out a map until I realized it is 2022 and I don’t have a printer.
I found Megan and Adam’s home with no GPS and I was super proud of myself! When I arrived, I was greeted by their doggies was able to take a tour of their home to prepare for when their twins come in a few months. We then drove around their photogenic property in the snow and took photos around their land. They pointed out homes (which were all their family who live along the same road), their cows, and we managed not to get stuck in the snow!
Megan and Adam are expecting twin girls!! I am looking forward to heading their way again and capturing the sweetest lifestyle newborn photos of their growing family.

Rust Manor House was glowing in the autumn light, with crisp air, golden leaves, and […]

After a few weather-related reschedules, this year’s mini sessions finally came together on a truly perfect fall day. This tree instantly caught everyone’s attention, with clients asking if it was intentionally chosen for the sessions—and it really did feel meant to be. We photographed it at peak color, and just one week later the leaves […]

Starting the day photographing Meridith and Andrew’s engagement session in Winchester couldn’t have been more perfect. As the sun rose, a soft layer of fog rolled in, creating the dreamiest atmosphere and the most beautifully moody images. After having to reschedule because of rain, we decided to embrace the fog—and it added so much character […]
