Andrew, Nicole and I go back to what seems like forever ago! We photographed their engagement session in 2019. They were originally supposed to get married in 2020; however, we all know how 2020 went. Two postponements and a venue change later, we made it!! Even during toasts, no one thought this day would ever come. Andrew and Nicole’s Birkby House Virginia Wedding was the most magical day and for being July, the weather was incredible.
One thing I love most about Andrew and Nicole is their love for each other. They love having such a fun carefree time together and with their friends. It was super important to them to be able to hang out with friends and have a relaxed and fun time throughout their wedding day. This is my philosophy how all wedding days should be.
Once Andrew and Nicole said “I Do,” the guests blew bubbles and they danced down the aisle. Nicole said it was an impromptu move. It was the most fun ceremony exit I’ve ever seen which is 100% Andrew and Nicole. They are both so go with the flow and do all the fun things together.
Congratulations Andrew and Nicole and thank you for choosing me to capture your big day!

Some wedding days stay with you not because of every detail, but because of how they felt. This sunny fall wedding at Rust Manor House in Leesburg was exactly that kind of day—calm, beautiful, and filled with so much heart. Rust Manor House was glowing in the autumn light, with crisp air, golden leaves, and […]

After a few weather-related reschedules, this year’s mini sessions finally came together on a truly perfect fall day. This tree instantly caught everyone’s attention, with clients asking if it was intentionally chosen for the sessions—and it really did feel meant to be. We photographed it at peak color, and just one week later the leaves […]

Starting the day photographing Meridith and Andrew’s engagement session in Winchester couldn’t have been more perfect. As the sun rose, a soft layer of fog rolled in, creating the dreamiest atmosphere and the most beautifully moody images. After having to reschedule because of rain, we decided to embrace the fog—and it added so much character […]

As they settled into life as a family of four (and wrapped up building their […]
