Exactly three years ago, I photographed my first Silverbrook Farm Virginia Wedding. I remember the date well because it was the exact date I went full time in my photography business. As I pulled into Silverbrook Farm it all hit me. All of the opportunities, all of the people, and everything I’ve learned in the past three years. What a surreal moment and how ironic it was that I was at this Silverbrook Farm Virginia Wedding exactly three years later.
In early June, Claudia and Rod said “I do” with their closest friends and family at their Silverbrook Farm Virginia Wedding. The day began like every other. The girls and guys hanging out and getting ready all having a great time. I could tell Claudia and Rod were both pretty nervous and excited. I’m so happy they opted to have a first look because as soon as they saw each other and embraced each other all of their nerves seemed to melt away.
Claudia and Rod’s first dance was pretty epic. As soon as they were announced into their reception, they immediately went into their first dance. They had been working on a choreographed first dance and they crushed it! Rod picked up Claudia and twirled her around. Claudia’s flowy dress looked absolutely incredible during this dance. The two of them are the cutest duo and looked incredible on the dance floor. Thank you Claudia and Rod for choosing me to capture your wedding.

With thoughtful preparation, we mapped out every detail, and when the moment came, Catie was completely surprised—and, of course, she said yes! Despite the freezing temperatures (so cold I could barely feel my body after just 10 minutes!), their joy and […]

The charm of Rust Manor House set the stage for a wedding that was classic, elegant, and modern. Nestled in the peaceful embrace of a park, this venue provided a secluded, nature-inspired backdrop that perfectly matched the bride’s vision. She fell in love with the calmness of the surroundings, the sounds of birds chirping, and […]
When Scott first reached out about elopement portraits, he was open to any time or place that would capture the most gorgeous images to look back on. Scott and Pilar privately exchanged their vows in a courthouse wedding in Alexandria, creating an intimate start to their journey together. A few weeks later, we met on […]
Every year, fall mini sessions are a huge hit with families! They’re the perfect way to update your annual family portraits and get beautiful images for Christmas cards.
