A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing Hope and Brandon’s engagement and wedding. Fast forward almost three years later they are expecting their first little one in June! I can’t tell you how special it was so see this sweet couple again and photograph their gorgeous Virginia Arboretum Maternity Session. One thing I absolutely love about being a wedding and portrait photographer is being able to capture a couple in love and capture them through life including growing their family. It’s truly such a special honor to see and capture.
After rescheduled session after rescheduled session because of seemingly two full weeks of dark, gloomy and rainy days we finally got the most gorgeous day! Hope and Brandon met me at the Virginia Arboretum where they had never been before but had driven past. They loved how beautiful the area was and were so glad to have gotten the opportunity to stop by and and enjoy the beauty while getting truly special portraits taken.
Congratulations Hope and Brandon!
If you want to visit the Arboretum, find all the information you need here.

Rust Manor House was glowing in the autumn light, with crisp air, golden leaves, and […]

After a few weather-related reschedules, this year’s mini sessions finally came together on a truly perfect fall day. As the sun rose, a soft layer of fog rolled in, creating the dreamiest atmosphere and the most beautifully moody images. After having to reschedule because of rain, we decided to embrace the fog—and it added so much character […]
